No7 Designs along with our partners are launching a program to provide shoes for our military veterans. At the end of last year we donated overstock t-shirts to the Veterans Administration in East Tennessee, and they told us of the veteran’s need for shoes. It was heartbreaking to know that those who have placed their lives in harm’s way to protect our country did not have shoes to wear. A basic part of our everyday wardrobe that we certainly take for granted, our military men and women are going without. After talking with our team and other small businesses in our area, we came to the conclusion that this was unacceptable and that we needed to make sure that our veterans were taken care of.
We will be placing donation boxes around the Tri-Cities where shoes can be dropped off or donations can be made. The bottom of this letter will also have our business address if you would like to send a monetary donation that way for this cause. Any and all donations collected will go towards meeting these veteran’s needs. The staff at the VA told us that they will take new or used shoes, anything can help.
Starting Feb 2nd , boxes will be available at Johnny’s Shoe Store in Kingsport, Massage Pro’s in Johnson City, Cor24 Community Fitness in Gray, and Harold Dishner; State Farm Insurance office Johnson City Tennessee. We are so grateful that these businesses are willing to help out our veterans and working to make a difference in the lives of our troops. We want to extend our thanks to you in advance for all of your help in this project.
